Please view their website for full information. www.whitireia.ac.nzPhysical Resources The New Zealand College of Performing Arts is situated at 36 Vivian Street in the heart of Wellington, the cultural capital of New Zealand. Over 15000 square feet of space including six studios, two with sprung floors, and a 200 seat theatre can be accessed and enjoyed by students. This central location ensures easy access for students to all city amenities and our industry partners. Human Resources Tutors of the College are all professional practitioners in their own right and provide an invaluable contact with the industry. Directors Richard Finn Following his graduation from The New Zealand Drama School, Richard spent seven years in Dunedin as Associate Director of the Fortune Theatre. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and Diploma in Drama from Auckland University and a Master of Arts from Victoria University of Wellington. His varied experience includes acting, writing, lighting design and directing. In 1993 Richard was awarded a professional development study grant by Creative New Zealand to study theatre in England and America. Richard is co-founder and director of The New Zealand College of Performing Arts established in 1993. Keryn Stone Keryn has extensive experience as an educator in the performing arts at tertiary level including ten years with the New Zealand Drama School and Conservatorium of Music, Wellington. Keryn is a graduate of The New Zealand School of Dance and Dunedin College of Education, an Associate of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance, an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance and holder of the Solo Seal. Keryn is co-founder and director of The New Zealand College of Performing Arts established in 1993 |
